The term “Culture Change” has been used
extensively in the past couple of years. It is important to
understand that in the past, the culture of most if not all,
suppliers of lifting products has been to sell as much as possible.
Today, suppliers who do not change that culture within their
organization will be left behind. Price is important, but just as
important is providing products that extend life, provide greater
safety, and increase productivity. In our large user customers, we
have removed our sales people and replaced them with coordinators or
specialists. We have done this because a salesman’s job is to “sell
more”. A coordinator’s job is to “sell less”. He is rewarded by
reducing what the customer buys, not by a commission on what he
sells. If ASC industries does the job correctly, we will be
rewarded by additional product lines or additional locations.
ASC's Customer Service Department is the foundation of our
in-house service team. Open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central
time, our Customer Service Team is available to help with any
inquiries concerning any of our products. In addition, our Customer
Service Representatives are supported by a team of engineers who are
also available to assist customers in the more technical aspects of
our products. After normal business hours, we're prepared to assist
our customers in times of emergency. Key members of our team are
on-call 24 hours per day to help our customers in any way possible.
